Real-time measurements of cloud availability and performance

Cloud Looking Glass is an academic research project evaluating hyperscale cloud availability and performance. Using triple-redundant test accounts with test agents deployed across multiple clouds, regions, and zones, we continuously monitor key metrics — response times for provisioning and modifying cloud resources (control plane), network and storage IO latencies (data plane) and many others. Failures, both isolated and widespread, are monitored in real time and manually confirmed.
